Elizabeth Damian, M.S.
About Me
My name is Elizabeth “Elle” Damian, a Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, earned with honors, and a Master of Science in Psychology specializing in mental health counseling. As a wife, mother, educator, and counselor, I bring a multifaceted perspective to the work I do—blending clinical expertise with real-world understanding to support my clients through life’s most personal challenges.
Throughout my clinical experience, I have treated a wide range of mental health concerns, including schizophrenia, substance use disorders, PTSD, OCD, anxiety, depression, and autism. These experiences have shaped my ability to support clients facing complex emotional and psychological struggles with empathy and clarity.
My practice is now focused on helping people improve and heal their relationships—whether with a partner, parent, child, friend, or even with themselves. I specialize in working with those who are navigating emotionally harmful dynamics, especially involving controlling or narcissistic individuals, including parents and family members.
Specialties and Approach
I support clients in strengthening boundaries, recovering from emotional abuse, managing family stress, and cultivating healthier connections. My therapeutic style is integrative, drawing from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and solution-focused, person-centered approaches.
I strive to create a safe, collaborative space where you can explore your experiences, identify patterns, and build meaningful, lasting change. Whether you're seeking to heal from a difficult relationship, improve communication, or reclaim your voice, I’m here to help you move forward with confidence.
